Airstream is known for its legacy of classically designed aluminum travel trailers. But there’s so much more intriguing design to this brand than just what looks silver.
This year, Airstream launched the all-new Airstream Pottery Barn Special Edition, but this gorgeously decorated floor plan wasn’t the first Special Edition Travel Trailer to partner with Airstream.
Here’s a look at The Fleet of these special Travel Trailers over multiple generations and design styles.
Pottery Barn (2021)
Let’s start with the Pottery Barn Special Edition itself. This gorgeous decor is “hardware, soft goods, fixtures, and other surprising touches crafted with Pottery Barn’s design expertise. From the custom-made sofa and seating, the window coverings, and the full complement of Airstream’s innovative technology solutions, the new Pottery Barn collaboration resulted in a truly “special” edition,” according to Airstream.com. The L-shaped couch in the rear just screams relaxation.
Tommy Bahama: The Island Life on Wheels (2017)
The Airstream and Tommy Bahama partnership still lives on today, with the Airstream Atlas Tommy Bahama Special Edition Touring Coaches. But the 28 foot 2017 Travel Trailer has a refreshing design.
Pendleton: So Special, It Was Limited (2016)
On the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service in 2016, Airstream made just 100 of these, one for each year of the National Parks. Sleeping up to 6, it’s known for a “hunting cabin” aesthetic and a map of Yellowstone National Park on the inside walls.
Eddie Bauer: Two Outdoor Icons Come Together (2011)
Coming in two floor plans of 25 and 27 feet, this model is now considered a “design laboratory” for many of today’s popular Airstream features.
Quiksilver: A Mobile Surf Shack (2006)
The 16 foot floor plan resembling today’s Bambi 16RB began the journey of future Airstream brand partnerships, with splashy ocean themed interior that brought Airstreams to the beach.
